Arturo Rios, a new generation talented fashion hat designer, lives and works in Los Angeles, California, USA. His celebrated career started in 2001 when he met legendary Italian Hat Designer Karen Indreland, where he learned the exceptionsal skills and techniques.

Arturo considers himself and ordinary guy yet designs nothing but out-of-the-ordinary hats. He loves the colours of nature, flowers, birds; his inspiration comes from what he sees in everyday life. Using colourful and unique fabrics, exotic and flexible feathers, combining antique materials with modern idea's, he creates brilliant fashion headpieces.

I personally choose fabrics from dif. suppliers around town.
my assitant and I were walking around some fabric stores and were in a hurry after spending almost a day finding supplies for my new collection.., weather was so hot in Los Angeles that day, on our way out to the street, my eyes catched an interesting Iridescent Olive/gold color hiden all the way in the back amoung other fabrics... we went back to the store and i felt in love with this fabric and color. I always had in mind a similar color for a hat on one of my collections.. and that day finally found it... here is the result.. "
